& Crowton's unpopularity there--the well had become so thoroughly poisoned against BYU. And I think it's become clear that this was a wise move. Our temporary absence in Kahuku is a big part of the reason why we're suddenly relevant there in the last few years.

Other than that, Bronco has in no way been anti-Polynesian (despite a infamous Vai article suggesting otherwise). I do like the recent Poly additions to our coaching staff, though. And Vai's over-the-top article may have had a hand in those changes -- so we probably have to look at all these things circumspectly.
