BYU consistently does better on the field than their recruiting rankings predict
BYU's end of season rankings are consistently better than their recruiting rankings. There are some teams that do better. That doesn't mean that BYU does poorly.
As for getting players drafted into the NFL... What I said above is definitely true about BYU's on field results exceeding recruiting rankings. If what you say is also true that BYU puts less players into the NFL than their recruiting rankings would predict - then that says more about the types of players the NFL is looking for than the job BYU coaches do in coaching their players.
