Staley gpt cut from the Detroit Lions several years ago. So many people referred to his being cut it was almost humorous. Seemed no one was reading each others messages on the message board and thousands reported him being cut. Since then when someone refers to SCG it means that its old news and already reported. I agree with the original poster though, I thing it degrades a great player whom I had many great moments watching play at BYU.
