Lack of funds may have gotten us to this current place - where many feel like the program isn't managed the way they had hoped for and has failed to reach its potential. In that scenario, it feels hard to justify donating funds which could otherwise be used on one's own family, etc.

OTOH, people not donating is definitely hindering us from getting better assistant coaches, facilities, etc.

This is why we need a big event to invigorate the fanbase (like a special season, P5 invite etc.) In these circumstances many more people tend to donate with the optimism.
