But here is what I do think.

1. Lift the restrictions that exist for public ally fundraising for BYU athletics.
2. Make sure that the cost of building and maintaining facilities is appropriately allocated to other departments based on use. this may be happening, I don't know but there has been speculation that university doesn't cover its full percentage of costs for non athletic department uses of the building like devotional, regional conferences etc...
3. Make byutv pay BYU athletics fair market value for all sports events. Again this may also be happening but no way for me to tell.
4. Give proceeds of concession sales to BYU athletics instead of dining services.
5. I have also heard that BYU athletic department gets a lower percent of royalties from merchandise sales than othe athletic departments but again I don't know.


In the end a lot of frustration is based on speculation. Maybe some of thes concerns are valid maybe some of them aren't.
