Crowton overachieved with the 2001 roster. No coach wins much more than Crowton from 2002-04 with the pipeline that Lavell left the program. Crowton's failings were off-the-field and not dealing with logistical issues. He achieved pretty average based on what was handed to him by Lavell. However, we should be thanking him for rebuilding the program and him being the scapegoat for the 2002-04 dip.
