Riley knew he was hurt, and he didn't communicate that to the coaches. He was ineffective even when healthy. He cost BYU games by not being honest.
He gave his all to BYU, but he shouldn't have played.
He is the best example that football takes more than grit.
I place more blame on Bronco for playing Riley than keeping Howell.

I love BYU and try not to bash the players. However, I don't chastise others for doing so. this is a sports board. It comes with the territory.
