I feel like a have a pretty good life. But there are definitely a lot of things
i would change. Fortunately, I have a wife who has more patience that I probably deserve. She is also very organized and has helped me develop habits to stay organized a lot better than I used to be.

She would never say it out loud or admit to it, but I believe part of the reason she likes working is because of the times early in our marriage I walked out of steady jobs for something more exciting. So she likes having something very consistent in that regard. In the grand scheme of things, that has worked out as I have found something career wise that I can start and stop whenever I want that pays pretty well.

Like I said, there are plenty of times when I feel like I live in a world where I am constantly trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. But a lot of environmental structure has gone a long ways to manage things without medication.

Ps- I should also probably add I was originally diagnosed With it in the early 80's but my parents never told me or any of my teachers about it because it was still very taboo back then. No medication as a child either. While working at Byu, my boss made me read the Driven to Distraction book and go see someone about it. I called my mom to ask her something about it and that is when she told me about the early diagnosis. So, all my life I had been raised with a lot of structure and no medication.

Probably a lot more than what you were asking for.
