than what everyone experiences in the normal course of life. We certainly do all prefer to do fun things over boring things, and anyone can get distracted at times. And anyone can blame those moments on ADHD without actually having it.
But for those who do legitimately have ADHD, it is a completely different thing. It can be debilitating. It takes a huge effort to overcome those tendencies, and for some, they can't be overcome without medication and/or professional help.
