Yes they did, and 90 yards of those came on two miracle sideline catches
where the DB had perfect coverage and the receiver just made an amazing play. In the two games since, Utah's secondary allowed 97 yards passing until there were 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter against Fresno before Whitt pulled the starters. The remainder of Fresno's yards came in garbage time against Utah's backups. They also held Oregon to less than 200 yards total passing. Take away the garbage time yards that Fresno gained and the Utes are allowing about 202 yards per game. The Utah secondary is much, much better than the stats show, and have improved dramatically in the past two games. I understand that Oregon's QB situation is not good right now, but their WRs are some of the best in the PAC 12, and the fact that Utah didn't allow them to get open over the top bodes well for the Cal game. I know that you'll likely come up with something to counter me here, and I'm sure this argument could go on and on, so I'll just say that I believe that Utah is the better team, and even though I'm sure Goff will get his, Utah should win this one comfortably. Cal is a team on the rise, and Dykes has them headed in the right direction, but they also gave up 44 points to a really bad Texas team and nearly lost to Washington State, who is awful. I doubt they'll finish better than 8-4, as they're about to head into a brutal stretch of their schedule. They've got games against Utah, Stanford, USC, UCLA, Oregon, ASU, and Oregon State, and could very realistically finish the rest of their schedule 2-5 or 1-6.
