I'd trade everyone of those meaningless bowl games...
For 1 BCS or NY6 bowl game in the last 11 years. Getting to a bowl game today, isn't an accomplishment like it use to be. There just isn't much impressive about Broncos bowl success other than maybe the wins over Oregon and Oregon St. Beyond that, your putting lipstick on a big.
And just bang a big name means what if that teams season sucks? Everyone is beating Texas... Who cares. UCLA was 4-6 that season. Nebraska isn't very good at all. And when your greatest success as a coach is a couple of lucky plays made... you are building your argument on some very shaky ground.
BYU needs a change... It's time to see if someone else can go beyond just a nice record against just a bunch of crappy teams.
