I never meant to suggest that I thought Rose wasn't a great fit for BYU or that BYU would likely do better with another coach. I don't expect BYU to be a consistent sweet sixteen team. I love that his teams play on attack and seem to be in the game almost all the time. His consistency has been impressive and he represents the school well.
My posts were just to point out that his tenure has had it's share of weaknesses. Like recruiting bigs. Like adapting to WCC 3-point shooters. And like fundamentals at times. If his teams get back to the Jimmer era level, I'll be ecstatic and say he is not just a great coach for BYU but a great coach, period.
