My Dewalt screw gun recently died after living a good long life. I built 2 homes and performed many tasks and projects around our homestead with that screw gun. I like Dewalt products, so I am looking at a couple options online and I've found two packages deals with drill driver and impact drivers together. One kit has the 20V lithium ion set for $180 and the other is 18V Nickel Cadium for $150.

My question, is the 20V lithium ion worth the extra $30? I've got $140 on a Home Depot gift card so that's playing a little into my decision.

Alternatively, is there another brand you tool junkies would recommend? Porter Cable? Makita?
