Appendix carry might work well with your SIG
I sometimes carry a fullsize CZ75 which rides and conceals much better at appendix. I use the Sticky Holster brand which allows me to shift the handgun to whatever position is most comfortable without the hassle of belt clips.
My guess is that you'll quickly want something smaller after carrying your SIG around, I've been there done that.

If you don't care about a possible outline of the gun (printing), I would stick with what you have. This is how I carry.
