Utah's winning percentage during LaVell's era was .498 (164-165-3).

Utah's winning percentage during Bronco's era is .691 (96-43). And that includes a 2 year slump in records 2012 & 2013 after joining the PAC...

LaVell was 22-7 against Utah. In years Utah managed a winning record LaVell was 8-7. He was 14-0 in years Utah finished .500 or below. During this time Utah only finished with 9 or 10 wins in a season 2 times. In fact if you take only Utah's "winning seasons" during LaVell's era Utah only had a .640 (110-62) winning percentage in just those years.

Bronco is 3-7 against Utah. During those years Utah has had 5 seasons in which we played them (not counting 2014 or 2015) that they achieved 9 or more wins.

To repeat the point - a LOT of teams owned Utah during that 29 year period of time. Not so much anymore...
