It worked better for me. I kept getting tangled up in the CPAP tubes, the seal
would break all the time and wake me up all night. It would also make me swallow air and the mask irritated my sensitive baby-face skin. I did it for a month and couldn't make it through the night without ripping the stupid thing off.

The mouth piece took about a month to get used to, and there was some initial jaw and tooth pain, but now it's fine and I have a lot more energy during the day and it eliminated my snoring.

I don't know if it will work as well for everyone, but it worked for me.
