If he can't participate in spring ball and he's still enrolled at byu, he might as well just let things pay out, see how spring ball goes at each of the schools he's considering. How are the new coaches doing? What's the QB battle like? He'll have plenty of time for the playbook later. If he goes to UVA, he already knows the playbook. If he's not practicing here and he can't transfer anyway, what does it matter? He's not stealing reps from byus other backups but he can observe the new staff and decide if he likes the direction of the program or not.
