You know that not all recoveries go as planned, right?
A few years ago a Lisfranc was near the top of the list for career-enders. The medical field may have come a long way since then but nothing is guaranteed. Even with the most routine of injuries. He has barely made it 6 months since the injury, probably less since the surgery.

Taysom may already know what the prognosis is for a full recovery but as yet I don't think the public does. It would seem foolish to assume otherwise until he decides to make it known. Everybody responds differently to medical treatment.
