his knowledge with another team? I think this is fair and makes sense. Whether he's healed enough to participate or not, he should know whether he's going to be on the team. If he is returning to BYU, he should be participating physically or just mentally/emotionally to learn as much as possible. If he's going to play some place else, he should not be allowed anywhere near spring camp. Personally, I think he's been waiting as long as possible to see how the foot is healing. I can't fault him for that but spring camp seems a reasonable deadline.
