If he's 100% healthy by the end of the semester, he may decide with a full summer of team workouts, he is more confident in the risk/reward of going to Michigan perhaps. But if the recovery is going to stretch into fall camp and even beyond, he may want to take the surest thing in terms of a starting position, which IMO is the Virginia job. He knows the offense, the coaches know him best of any while the incumbent will be at a disadvantage learning the offense and isn't even as good as the guy Taysom would be battling at BYU.
