RE: For a few reasons:
1) I can't blame you, particularly with the "hype" the new coaching staff is getting.

2) I think you are wrong on this. Anae freely admitted that he depended on scheme and execution -- he largely didn't change the offense for different teams. I see Ty being much more "inventive", receivers will run a wider variety of routes (a major criticism of Anae) and that Ty will even "switch up" the offense depending on the opponent. I think Ty will be much less predictable, in terms of the schemes that will be run.

To be fair, this doesn't mean Ty will automatically be more successful. In some ways, I think Ty will (in terms of scheme) be more like Doman -- and we know how the offense struggled, particularly with a seeming "lack of offensive identity." I do expect Ty to be successful, where Doman largely seemed to fail, but there could be growing pains as the team adjusts. It helps Ty a lot that he has two very good QBs coming back with experience, it will make it much easier as the QBs should understand his schemes. I also think Ty will be more successful in scheming around his players, in "dumbing it down," as needed, when he has inexperienced players that don't understand.

Last, no OC (or offense) is always successful. No matter how successful Ty may (or may not) be, there will still be game where the opponent either has matchup advantages at key positions or calls a "perfect game" and is able to keep Ty's offense from being successful.
