Abyssal that your comment because it over simplified to a ginormous degree my arguments. It really is amazing to sit in the stands at BYU games and listen to many fans around me who really just don't understand football. Last year I did not have season tickets and so I sat in several different areas and the same types of fans were in each section I sat in. It was a minority, but a significant one.

While my subject said unrealistic expectations, the crux of my argument, at least in my mind, was about fan ignorance and lack of knowledge, and I guess that leads to unrealistic expectations, so you're probably right.

I'm just kind of tired of the people that seem to be just waiting Ty to call the"wrong" play and then will be on here saying they knew Ty would struggle and how much of a gamble it was. When the play they were criticizing might have failed for reasons other than just a bone headed coaching call. It happened frequently with Robert.
