Now you are sounding just a little yewtish. The time may come when society
completely passes us by (or some might say "so wicked as to not allow any goodness at all"). Will that mean that God should be ignored or abandoned? Or will that mean we have to up our game to be even more exact in our obedience? I can think of much better examples in my Ward of how we should live our lives than myself. But I haven't noticed in the scriptures a strong advocation to adopt the morals around us, to be just like everyone else, or to just fit in.
