It does seem that there are certain graduate programs that have an axe to grind

with BYU grads for some reason (Stanford's law school comes to mind). But BYU is a great school for an incredible price and from my experience very well respected in the work force. I could see a BYU degree losing its value long term if the school doesn't change some of its policies.
