You were saying the same thing earlier today. You're still wrong.
If you were to compare other large (25K) enrollment schools, and filter out their graduate applications so that the demographics we're 90% white and male to match BYU's typical grad applicants, I'd love to see those numbers. I have a hunch BYU would look even better by comparison.

Since you shared your personal anecdote, I'll share mine. I received my DDS from a state school on the East Coast, and while not quite as competitive as med school, I felt fortunate to land a spot. What is interesting about state schools, is that they're totally upfront about the fact that they have quotas for admissions. So out of a hundred slots, half the class was male and half female. Half the class was clearly state resident, and the other half was non-resident. So essentially, an out of state guy like me was really shooting for only one of 25 spots, not one out of 100.

Of those 25 available spots, 16 were occupied by LDS dudes, and thirteen of them were BYU grads. Note that is slightly more than half of all the potential spots that could have been filled.

So in my case, I am overwhelmingly grateful that I had BYU on my resume. And will highly recommend that as a top option to my kids.
