Not true at all. Recruiters will take a Stanford grad over BYU grad regardless
of the field.
A perfect example is that one of my buddies graduated from Stanford with a degree in Biology. Out of school, he could have worked pretty much anywhere he wanted. He ended up at a sales job where he got promoted repeatedly within the first two years and was making well into 6 figures. He's moved on to another company and constantly has recruiters going after him. Keep in mind his degree is in BIOLOGY. It's just the Stanford name that gets him in the door pretty much anywhere he wants. This is just one example of many.
