Difference between collie hoff and Drage...
Drage was easily the best route runner and was the most uncoverable. He would get off the line and lose his man better than anyone else we have ever had. Amazing hands.

Collie was best athlete but very coverable. I saw his struggle often to lose his man.

Hoff was not as good at route running or getting open as either of them Bit he is one of the only we have ever had that was open even when he wasn't open. His body was big and he new how to leverage it. You could throw to him when he was blanketed and complete a pass.

All had great hands. All three would easily be in the 6 man, all BYU receiving corp. But any of you who never watched Drage play should do your selves a favor and watch some highlights. He was wide open all the time, not because of blown coverages but because he made the guy covering him dizzy spinning him around and losing him.

I'll put it this way, if I was picking a wide receiver group to play against a team with the notorious press man coverage Eric drage is my first pick at wide receiver. He could get off the ball, get into his route, set up defenders, and lose them. Better than anyone we've ever had. Another guy like that who is vastly underrated is Bryce doman. He was very similar. Watch the Notre Dame game, he went head-to-head with an all American who had a long NFL career and ran circles around him.
