Yes, his length was disruptive, but his feet were in quicksand. I do appreciate that Saljaas's footwork improved considerably over the course of the season, but he was hardly a good defender by the end of the year, nor was his lateral movement good--it was simply a whole lot better than it was coming in.
Lucky for Seljaas (& us) he didn't face too many athletic guys in WCC play. Hopefully he jumps a lot of rope on his mish or something.
