Are we talking about making open shots or creating open shots?
He forced a few last night, but he mostly had pretty good shot selection and showed good movement without the ball to get open.
In terms of D1 defenses "eating him alive," as long as he has good shot selection and good movement off of the ball, that shouldn't be a big issue -- he's not going to be expected to create his own shot, nor is that what he did last night.
