I can easily see networks saying to the BIG12 (example)..."as long as your
inventory includes Iowa State, Kansas, and Kansas State, we won't pay more than X" (x being significantly lower than they are paying now). If you want more $$, upgrade your inventory.
Since they won't be kicking anybody out, the $$ gap between them and the G5 reduces (except the SEC, which despite the Kentucky and Vanderbilts of the conference still manage to draw lots of eyes).
