The changing landscape is exactly the reason BYU needs to persevere in Independence. It will prove to be the right track. Jason Buck is exactly, completely wrong (and its obvious - which makes me doubt his loyalty). Rejoining the MWC or any other G5 conference is 180 degrees from where we need to be headed. Tying the Cougs to any conference that would hinder use of our state of the art broadcasting capability is just stupid. It would decrease the huge gains in exposure we've realized since independence, set us back and put us in the same boat as backwater G5s. I live in Alaska and i see the cougs MUCH more than the bad old days of the MWC - or WAC.
