Here's what your membership does:
BYU fields 21 NCAA teams. Ticket sales from football cover 24%, men's basketball another 6%, and all other ticket sales 1% of the total athletic department operating budget. Presently, donations-- including CC--and endowments cover an additional 15%. The balance is provided by a several other sources.

CC donations help cover scholarship costs, team travel expenses, recruiting, equipment, etc. You have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping the University and the young men and women who represent it and its values; and also, knowing that you are helping the athletic department be competitive.

Depending on your contribution level, there are perks beyond priority seating and parking. As a legacy member, this past spring my wife and a married son were able to attend a very nice dinner--at no cost--in Scottsdale, Arizona, where the coaches and various team members were present. It was a nice opportunity to hear from them in an intimate setting and meet them individually.

Coaches were seated at individual tables and we had the opportunity of having Tuiaki at our table. He answered questions about the team, scheduling, and recruiting. You will also receive invites to the annual awards banquet.

I live a 9-hour one-way drive from Provo and have had 4 season football tickets longer than you. I also purchase 4 season basketball tickets and still maintain a CC membership. I am happy to do what I can to assist the athletic program as I believe it does more for the Church than any other activity save the missionary program.

You really should consider joining CC.
