I knew a guy who went to medical school a year after graduating from chiropractic school. Do that, then pray the income
based repayment stuff with loan forgiveness sticks around and work for a non-profit for 10 years after residency.

This is not correct. There is loan forgiveness available for physicians after they make 120 qualifying payments
