And I don't know where everyone gets this idea that doctors exist to give pills and nothing more. What do you think will help you instead? Pills exist for a reason, and as the role of lifestyle factors become more well understood doctors make those recommendations as needed. A doctor's goal is to help the patient get well. Just like a chiropractor or naturopath or whatever other healing methods people think work - those providers just want to help patients.
