This is not correct. There is loan forgiveness available for physicians after they make 120 qualifying payments
ie ten years while working for a nonprofit (like Intermountain).
When you have close to 500k in student loans there are plenty of physicians who will not pay off their loans in 10 years and qualify for forgiveness.
