Ed Lamb was a great hire. Steve Kaufusi brings years of experience in coaching and how to survive the quirks of BYU athletics. But every single other hire was a stretch. Not much experience in the remaining assistants and our offensive and defensive coordinators are first timers in those roles.

I am more and more impressed with Kalani and am optimistic about our coaches and the future of the program. Even so, Kalani's staff is very inexperienced and is still not proven.

BTW, I couldn't agree more with your assessment of Rose's assistants.
