but instead they are like sticky syrup we can't get rid of.

If you have D1 coaching assistant experience, have any sort of networking skills, AND ARE A COMPETENT COLLEGE BASKETBALL COACH, there are opportunities all over this country, every... single... year. The fact that these guys don't move isn't about money.
