And I would say the long term gain of beating LSU vs Utah is negligible.
Now granted, if it wasn't an already lopsided recent history with Utah, it would change that. But in the world we live in now, a win against LSU won't really mean anything if we lose to Utah at home the next week, for the 7th time in a row. But even after a loss to LSU, a win against Utah to break the streak would still be huge. Give me that Utah guarantee for now. And I don't think that is "little brother" at all
