Time will tell. College is far more forgiving when it comes to player development. He decided to swim in deep water before he is ready. Now he gets to compete against players that are bigger, faster, and have a great deal more experience. He will compete for playing time like he has not done for many years. Maybe he does great, but I don't think anyone would call it the easy way.
