Sure, you can say that that was not due to the coaching at BYU, but the coaches certainly didn't hold him back. If he could have continued his upward trajectory at BYU for one more year, he would have been in a good position for next year's draft. That's why nearly every NBA draft expert we're scratching their collective heads at his decision.

If Mika really, really wanted to be drafted, the best way to SHOWCASE his talent would have been one more year at BYU. I 'm sure every NBA team that he met with told him that exact same thing.
