1. How many companies are making them or something remotely close at the moment? I can only think of Tesla. I'm sure theres more working on it, but to be able to produce enough cars to really change our society by 2025 wouldn't the main companies need to be producing these. Just from a #'s standpoint I think 8 years isn't enough time to have that technology and to work out the kinks, and to have produced enough cars to really be a big difference maker that soon.
2. How will this work with outdoor recreational activities? Like boating, off road driving, horses, camping, atv's, hauling farm equipment etc.. Seems like some of these could use a special driverless vehicle to get them to their destination, I guess. But I think for the next 50 years it'll be a hybrid of a lot of people still driving vehicles and a lot of autonomous cars on the road. Especially in rural areas.
