Let's say Joe didn't go on a mission and played a year under scholarship for USU. Then Kalani becomes coach and Joe wants to transfer...

He would have still had to sit out a year due to the NCAA transfer rules (different than the NLI rules.. but the same penalty)

Would there be the same fuss?
