In Chicago and missed almost every game. I only saw games if I flew back to Utah and watched local TV because there was no way to see them otherwise-- not even sports bars carried them. BYU is now independent and has a deal with ESPN and most games are televised nationally. You can even watch at least one game via BYUTv which you can get almost anywhere in the world.
BYU did not have a chance back then because almost no one outside of Utah saw their games.
Now national audiences have seen BYU beat OU, Nebraska, Ole Miss, and Michigan State. Sure we have lost some games, some close, some ugly, some embarrassing. But at least I get to see my favorite football team almost anywhere I go.
