those guys are sports fans, but the world is a big place. U.S. is 4.4% of world's population
having an awesome football team for BYU does not help solve world-hunger or bring world peace. BYU the school will continue to do well regardless of whether the athletics ever make it into P5. When you look at starving refugees in the world, its justifiable that the Brethren do not make BYU athletics a big priority. If all BYU fans put more of their free-time focus on philanthropy in the world, the brethren would probably be pleased with that. They probably feel though that if the BYU alumni want to support BYU athletics to make it good, then that is OK too.
