If our revenue is the estimated $54 million-ish previously posted on CB, 7% of that = $3.7million. Part of that obviously comes from KSL radio, BYUTV, and WCC/men's basketball television contract, etc. I'm not sure how much that's worth, but let's just low ball it and say $700K. That means we're raking in $3million a year from ESPN, or $600,000 per home game!
Even though it's an estimate, I doubt it's 2x or 3x off. That's a much lower figure than I previously thought. I thought we were getting around $1.5m or $2m per home game broadcast. About $10m a year. How much worse is that than if we went back to the MWC or joined the AAC?
