Agreed. It's both. They stereotype Mormons based on a % that aren't content to
live their religion but overtly act like they are better (and believe it). Likewise they get stereotyped based on a % of fans who drink and turn into belligerent turds. Assuming someone that someone who drinks is a classless, wife beating, drunk driver is going to offend them. No different than how much it offends Mormons when people assume we all secretly want 7 underage wives.
When in fact most in either demographic are kind and normal people who are content to do their own thing and stay out of other people's business.
