The one thing that gets on my nerves about the #MeToo movement
Name the individual(s) who did these awful things to you. Don't be fake brave by saying "Me Too" and then not expose the person who harassed or assaulted you. It rings hollow if you make a claim and want to be part of the movement, and then you protect that same individual and allow him to do the same thing to someone else. If the movement has empowered you speak up, actually speak up and call someone out for his misconduct. The USA Gymnast did it exactly the way it should be done today when she exposed the team doctor.

Additionally, I'm guessing a portion of the men who allegedly committed sexual harassment were well-meaning guys who have no idea they did so, because individual understanding of what is or isn't appropriate physical contact varies tremendously. The fact is that millions of marriages result from workplace relationships, so its safe to assume there are plenty of workplace incidents that don't amount to sexual harassment in the man's mind because he was just making his move to see if feelings were reciprocated. Now, some things are objectively harassment and shouldn't be tolerated, but there are many other actions that are merely subjectively offensive and its important that women communicate when objectively acceptable contact isn't okay with them.

Just to be clear I'm not defending Weinstein, or anyone like him, because nothing he did was objectively appropriate.
