I'm not trying to make an argument for "why"....
as I said I would never use it. What I'm not doing is allowing you to try and assume a moral high ground here that you don't deserve to occupy. If jefe doesn't want it then that's fine with me, if he does I'm fine with that also. But your take on what other users should and shouldn't be able to do isn't a very good one because this is a privately owned board and the owner gets to make those decisions.
My personal opinion, and that is all that it is, is that Jefe isn't inclined to grant that power to individuals or else he would have already done it, but that could change based on factors like losing users and posters because they tire of being trolled. And of course once again I want to be able to read stuff from the lefitst's and anti LDS guys so I am not seeking that power for myself.
