It's not an issue of "I can't help reply". It's an issue of 'hey, ______ made

An interesting point and I want to discuss so I can understand what he means or why his take is that way'. If the solution to conflict is communication, adding features like this don't do anything to enhance productive communication, not do they do anything to detract from unproductive name-calling (which is perceived by some much more than it actually occurs).
