Oh I agree, but the other poster was talking about the optics to a potential new

coach, and the fact is that a potential head coach is going to see someone getting fired after a very good year and one very bad year.

All that said, Detmer is a disaster and I don't think anyone in the coaching profession would bat an eye if Detmer were shown the door.
